I heard really good things about this place so I had to try it and it lived up to the hype and then some. HUGE portions that everyone in my party had leftovers and it was very authentic. I would gladly recommend them to anyone!!

I love coming here with family when I'm in town, and I always like to try different dishes. But there's one item we consistently get, and is a must-try: the Tom Yum Soup (seafood, or go home). They give you a good variety of shrimp, mussels, squid, and scallops, but I wouldn't say they're generous. But the broth is an excellent balance of spicy and sour, which is hard for many to hit. The other dishes are usually excellent as well, with the Chicken Sate staying tender with a fresh peanut sauce, the noodles in the Spicy Basil Noodles fresh and soft, and the Panang Curry creamy but not overpowering with coconut. I've found that they sometimes dial down the heat with their dishes, so you can kindly request they cook in the traditional Thai style if you want it spicy. So the food is great, but the service is lacking. Depending on the time of day, your table can be neglected, which is a bit annoying. But still a solid review from me, and my family will continue to come here when we're Jonesin' for great Thai food.

Fabulous Thai food! Friendly service that makes the meal enjoyable. Panang curry was plentiful, teeming with goodies! The broth was on the rich side, but not so much as to be gagging. Lots of fresh basil too. Only disappointment was they don't offer brown rice at this location (Edmond does). Otherwise, 5 stars.

Get the Panang Curry and spring rolls. So good. This is probably the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The hubby likes the pad Thai. It's great too. It's a super casual place in a strip mall location. The service is very fast....sometimes almost too fast but I can't really complain about that.

Honestly one of the best Thai restaurants in town. I've been to Thailand numerous times for work, and the food at Panang is spot on. The portions are pretty large - I usually get two meals out of whatever I order. I love the panang curry.

This place is delicious! For appetizers, fried tofu or vegetable fried spring rolls are great. I'm always between the pad thai and curry. Panang, yellow, evil jungle curry, yum. And the spice level. For a good burn 3 or 4 starts is pretty tasty depending on the chef I suppose. The staff and service are great! Crazy friendly and they serve huge portions. When it's in season their sticky mango rice dessert is delicious as well :)

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the portions are huge for lunch and dinner. I can eat in it 3 times. They have great lunch specials. I always get the chicken pad thai because it so good. Great spring rolls. The spicy basil rice is my boyfriends favorite. I have also tried the Pad See Yew, Crispy egg noodles and my moms favorite Spicy stir fried. WARNING: they will ask you if you want your food spicy no matter what you choose..and I made a huge mistake the first I went saying I wanted it a little spicy(because I wasn't sure how much they would use but I generally eat things that are spicy with no issue). After the first few bites my mouth was on FIRE! They use a lot of spice. Now I just add my own spices when I go. Great atmosphere, prices and staff!

The freshest and best Thai food bar none. They have the best by far, they will raise the bar you judge Thai food from now on. Love the fried rice and the evil jungle curry. Large portions so you will have leftovers and will leave satisfied. IF IT IS IN SEASON YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO GET THE MANGO AND STICKY RICE!!!!! You will not be disappointed

I was so excited to check this place out when I was on this side of town for work! I always see my Yelp friends checking in here and I love Thai food, so I knew it was a must try. I had the lunch special where you get to choose one item from four different lists for only $8.25. Each weekday has its own specials. I was feeling like some vegetarian fare that day so I had pad thai noodles, a veggie spring roll, mixed veggies and green curry with tofu. I will definitely order the pad thai next time because it was perfect! I also really enjoyed the mixed veggies. It had a huge variety of carrots, green beans, broccoli cabbage and baby corn. I thought the tofu could have been cooked a little better but overall my meal was so good and I can't wait to come back! The atmosphere is also really nice and comfortable. The servers are very attentive and my food came out quickly.

Only had the Pad Thai, but it was unremarkable. A bit too sweet and it was spiced with powdered chili pepper instead of fresh ground Thai peppers as it should be. The chicken and shrimp in it were so scarce I treasured each bit of protein and saved the four shrimp until the end. I have found that most Thai restaurants can be judged by how well they do Pad Thai, which is the signature dish of Thai cuisine.

We had a delicious meal here yesterday after running several errands in this part of town. We had been to a graduation party in the afternoon, so we had eaten a little bit, but at around 5, I realized I was totally starving. We got in before the dinner rush and were seated immediately. I had the Panang curry and Mr K had the Pla Rad Prik, a fried catfish dish with red chili sauce, green beans and some wonderful little fried leaves. Both dishes were outstanding, and the Level 1 spicy was plenty spicy for both of us. I loved my curry, but I always prefer to either come with more people and share food, or come during lunch and get smaller portions of a few different things. But if I only had one thing, I'm happy it was that. The service was great. They had to refill our waters often, and our food came out quickly and was delicious. I'm not sure what more you could ask for from an affordable Thai spot in a strip shopping center.

My husband and I finally decided to try this place. We have drove by here so many times. I tried a sweet basil noodle plate and my husband got a spicy stir fry. The waiter asked what level of spice we want in our food on a scale from one to five. We both asked for level four spice. Our food came out and we were surprised by the size of our plates. They were huge! We definitely could have split a plate. My plate was really good. It was filled with delicious veggies and big pieces of chicken. My husbands dish was a little different from mine and had a pile of rice on the side. His dish had a slightly floral taste to it but the taste was good if it was mixed with rice. All in all we want to come back to try more of their dishes.

Stopped by here during a weekend trip with high hopes of introducing someone to the magic that is Thai cuisine. I'd seen high reviews and went in with high hopes. The service was fast and different people came to the table to help us order. The appetizer we ordered, Spring Rolls, were pretty standard and delicious. However, in ordering our entrees, it seems we made a mistake... We opted for "2 star" level of spicy (with 1 being not-spicy-at-all according to the waitress). One of the dishes we ordered was nearly inedible because it was SO INSANELY SPICY. I say this as a lover of spicy food... I've never been somewhere with such intense and heavy-handed levels. I'm not sure if something went wrong, but other than just being hot hot hot, the dish had no other flavors or interesting notes. The pad thai was pretty standard, too. That's maybe where I'm disappointed... it seemed like a pretty normal dish without any real flavor beyond being... well, again, too spicy. I have to add- none of the pictures here really looked much like the quality of food we got. The fortune cookies were my favorite part of the meal- and I hate fortune cookies and sweets. I left decently satisfied, but having not even eaten half of the generous portions of food. I would just prefer quality over quantity for the price. My final verdict is... I wouldn't go back. I wasn't angry or insanely disappointed, but it was a forgettable experience with bland food. I would want to say this is a 2.5 star experience- but I can't. 2 stars seems harsh and 3 stars seems too kind.

Best Thai in OKC , easily some of the best Thai I've ever had. I didn't have high hopes for the food scene in okc coming from California but Panaang is delicious, authentic and the service is great.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 2/5 Decor & Style: 0/5 I come here every once in awhile and I get the same thing, the Panang curry. It's good enough for me to keep coming back 2-3 times a year for the same dish. It's not a dish that makes me say "wow", but it's tasty and very affordable. Service is decently fast and it's easy to nab a seat without reservation. It's not very clean, IMO, and the decor is darn, well, 'not pretty' is the nicest way to put it.

The food here is great and the price is pretty low. Every serving seems to be 3 whole meals for me. They have this fried tofu for an appetizer and it's an interesting taste. However I'm not much a fan of this type of tofu. The soy sauce noodle and the spicy stir Fry is always a common dish my fiance and I seem to order. I always have leftover which is great for me to take for lunch the next day at work. They have another location on the north side which I have been and the taste is pretty similar. I definitely rate this a 5!

Great Thai food and quick - easy carryout. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Panang has been one of our favorites since we moved back to town. I highly recommend the spicy beef salad.

Love the seafood fried rice, Tim um soup is delicious. I tried to make it at home couple times but still want to come back here for it. Come here with my husband every other weekend. My kids all love the foods here. The restaurant seems not very busy but overall 5 stars from me.

Yum! I love the soy-sauce noodles, massaman curry, house special stirfry! For dessert, try the mango with sticky rice!

I love their pad Thai! I used to come here a lot for their lunch special when I took classes nearby. Fortunately, there is one in the north side closer to where I live now. Must try for all!

My favorite thai restaurant in the Okc area. I liked their Pad Thai a lot. It was full of flavor. Also tried the Panang curry with chicken. Simply delicious. I would actually put this on my top 10 Thai restaurants list and I try a lot of them. This place got their Pad Thai recipe on point!

I've stopped in a few times when I'm in the area and hankering for some Thai food. Their food is really good, my favorite so far being the evil jungle kitchen. Service is always friendly, just somedays are slower than others. At a previous visit, I was alone in the corner back booth and my server forgot about me and I had to get up to flag someone down. Their lunch specials are great though. I always have enough for lunch and take home for dinner (or to share). The fried egg rolls are delicious too, and come out piping hot and fresh. Be careful not to burn your tongue! This recent visit, I took my niece who hasn't had Thai food before, and the lunch special was perfect for her to try a little bit of everything.

We were in the area, and really wanted some Thai food. Found this place on yelp, read some of the helpful reviews, and headed to go eat! The building looks fine from the outside and no to bad on the inside. Very clean. Right away we ordered two Thai teas, which were very good. We also ordered an order of calamari. Which came out very fast, and was not over cooked or rubbery. It also came with fried broccoli, corn, green beans and a homemade sweet and sour sauce. We also ordered some chicken pad Thai..... I am really glad we decided to share the order because it's HUGE! It was so much food we even had to take it to go when we were done eating! I will definitely be going back to this eatery even if I have to drive to Moore, Oklahoma to do so.

Well it's the first time here, but will be many more!!!! Clean place, service was pretty fast! Had the pineapple fried rice which was amazing!!!!! Had the chicken curry at a spice level of 3 should've got a 5! The level 3 heat is like putting Tabasco on stuff! Ordered pad tai and it was amazing! All in all an amazing place for Thai food!!!!!!

This is one of my favorite thai restaurants in Oklahoma. I have tried a few dishes here and was pleased with each other. I've tried the beef salad, which is minced beef, slightly sour, tossed with herbs. Secondly, I've had their curry, which is always made to please my palate. Not too creamy, not too spicy, but the perfect sweetness and spiciness that pairs well with rice or thrown on top of noodles. Lastly, I love their pad thai. It's always a huge serving, which I always have leftovers. The noodles aren't too soggy, but is cooked well with the right amount of sauce. The servers are usually really nice and friendly.

Decided to come here based on Yelp ratings. I was sick and wanting some Thai soup to sooth my soul. Thanks to my brother suggestion Tom khah on FB, I ordered the Tom khah soup and asked for it spicy! It was delicious!! My daughter wanted everything but settled with comparing the sweet sticky rice & mango with our normal spot in D.C. area. This place takes the win! The Thai tea was delicious as well. Very nice and attentive staff! I can't wait to come back and try the curry.

I feel like I've been eating at a different restaurant than my fellow Yelpers. Maybe it's because I go on weekends and not during the lunch rush. Maybe there is a different cook in the kitchen during weekday lunch that is far superior than the one cooking my food. I have gotten some meals that were close to inedible due to poor preparation and seasoning (overcooked noodles, iffy produce and protein, overall bland food, etc.). I've also had terrible service on multiple occasions (being ignored, slow, not following through on requests, etc.). Obviously I'm confused as to why Panang has so many great reviews. I would certainly not put this restaurant as one of the top Asian or Thai restaurants in the city...far from it. I have read that people think that the tom yum and tom kha is some of the best that some customers have ever had. I would say that those are actually some of the worst I've ever had. Those are my favorite soups typically, so it's disappointing when I get a bad one that I can't even finish. On a positive note, the pad thai is excellent and I've enjoyed it every time I've gotten it. So there is some consistency there. But I've yet to find another dish at Panang that I enjoy. I can't go to Panang unless I'm in the mood for pad thai exclusively.

Listen to me when I say: visit Panang during lunch for the M-F weekday $8.25 combo. Big portions! Vegetarian options! I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed by the food. The combo comes with A) White Rice, Fried Rice or Pad Thai B) Vegetable or Pork Spring Roll C) An option of a Curry Dish D) Another vegetable or meat dish If you're a minimal eater - you'll have a lunch & dinner plan for $8.25. Good deal if I do say so myself. The only con is the wait can be unbearable. I've noticed Fridays are especially busy during lunch. Also, even if you're not in for the lunch combo the food is surely worth the price in my opinion. Bonus: the little Thai fortune cookie at the end is so delish! Give this place a try and let me know how I've surely not failed you with this post. :)

I meant to upgrade this quite a while ago. My previous review notes an experience that was less than optimal, and a fellow Yelper (Meg W.) swore that it was because I had ordered from the lunch special menu. While I think that using the word "special" would require the food to match the title, I figured it was best if I didn't argue. Because Meg is a woman, and women are always right, I hear. So I made a return trip. And then a trip shortly after that. And it was so much yum. I don't even remember what I got, I just remember that it was delicious (both times, they were noodle dishes). And the service was like... night and day. There's this young girl (lady, woman, person with two X chromosomes) who was my server both times and she was all that and a bag of chips. She was several bags of chips actually. The good kind. Not that Sun chips nonsense that isn't actually made out of potatoes. Seriously though, her customer service is so good that she should be teaching classes on how to interact with human beings. Take notes, every mall kiosk employee out there. It's really too bad this place is farther than I'm willing to drive nowadays (or maybe it's a good thing?) because I would eat here at least once a week if the location wasn't so... Southside.

By far one of my favorite places in the area. Their curries are perfect, and everything I've tried from their menu has been great. I only wish they offered delivery! Pass that info along to Santa.

After having read several reviews by my fellow Yelpers, I was fairly excited about this place. The food is good. My date and I ordered the lunch specials with different options to give us some variety, and there was nothing to complain about. You will not be disappointed by any means. However, I just feel that it tastes like most other Thai places I have been. I want something different. Something with a little schmutz to it. The portion sizes are, in the words of Donald Trump, "hyuuuuuge." And they were very diligent about refilling our waters; creepily diligent.

Best Thai place in OKC- and I've tried at least seven. I wish it was closer to my house! I've had several of their curries and the pad thai- it's all delicious. I don't think you can go wrong. Their namesake "Panang Curry" is sooo good but a little on the spicy side. If you don't like spice, definitely ask for low spice- they'll cater to your wishes. I get my curries and noodles spicy and love it. I hope they'll open another location eventually because they've always been busy when we've gone. However, we have never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a table. The place just always seems at least half full. The service has usually been good, but nothing exceptional. I've never needed anything like a drink refill or waited a long time for my check, but I've never had a what I would describe as a "friendly" server. I'd eat here once a week if I lived closer. The Thai is that good. It's worth it- go try it.

This is our favorite place to eat in OKC! This time we had the Garlic Shrimp heat level 3 and the Spicy Basil Chicken level 2! They were both excellent! Everything was cooked perfectly! It came with spring rolls that were fabulous! We were seated right away and even though they were busy we got our food within ten minutes. We would highly recommend you give this place a try, especially if you like spicy!

Loved the food. Red curry was awesome and I have tried the fried rice. Would definitely visit again.

Brandon M.
Pretty good thai food, but between the awkward 5-minute wait from when the first two plates arrived and my table's second two plates were brought out, and a six-inch strand of black hair in my spicy basil noodles, I can't say this place is in the running for a top okc restaurant. Other than the service and the hair, though: *huge portions - one plate is easily enough food for two average appetites. *the pad thai is very..."authentic" (read: fishy) *tons of items on the menu, especially for those more adventurous than me *tasty curry

Was just ok :-/ I have had better Thai food in okc. We went for lunch. The service could have been better. I felt like the waitress wasn't really listening and was rushing us. She also wasn't very helpful to one of us who wasn't very familiar with Thai food. This discourages people from trying new things.
(3)
E H.
We've been here three times and it has been consistent in service and taste. We tried pad kee mao, pad thai, curry, and fried rices. (oh if you order their calamari appetizer, it will be half calamari and half tempura vegetables. They should correct their menu description.)

Absolutely THE BEST thai available in the metro. Not even kidding.

Came to OKC from SLC for an externship and I was craving for Thai food! I found this place on yelp. It was only 3 miles from the airport. It's a very clean place, not too big ( see pictures). Here are plenty of parking. I ordered tofu larb salad, which is not on the menu but you can ask for it. I also ordered the massaman curry with tofu and a Thai ice tea. Never leave without ordering sticky rice and mango!

We eat lunch here at least once a month. Been coming here for at least 5 years and food quality has always been consistently good. COME EARLY for lunch. We try to get here before 11:30 because it does get crowded. Lunch special is all you can eat, you just ask for more, but the initial plate is always so full I don't think I've ever asked for anything but more spring rolls. We always order off the lunch special menu and it is always great. Best Thai in OKC.

Hands down The. Best. Thai. Food. In. OKC. I have tried every their food in the metro and this is by far in a league if it's own. There is now a Panang 2 on the north side, but it isn't even as good as the original. I have been eating here probably every other week since I started working on the south side 5 years ago. The restaurant itself has undergone significant updating, and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the food is PHENOMENAL! They offer a spice scale from 1-5 (5 being the spiciest), and you choose the spice level of any dish you order. I like things really spicy so on everything but the soups I get a 5. When the soup is too spicy sometimes you breathe it in and it makes you cough uncontrollably. That being said, their soups are incredible and you MUST try their Tom Yum and the Tom Kah soups, delicious! My other regular dishes are the stir-fried eggplant and the Panang Curry- you cannot go wrong with either. Bottom line is no matter where you live- if you love Thai food- it is worth the drive to Panang!!
(5)
Annika L.
This is some of the very best Thai food I've ever had. The restaurant isn't all that fancy, but the service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. I will eat at this restaurant every single time I come to OKC. The portions are huge, so if you order an appetizer you should be prepared to bring half your entree home. (But? Order the appetizer, particularly the Angel Wings.) Mmmmm.

I was craving Thai food after my first class of the day so I decided to stop by Panang Thai Restaurant after a quick yelp search on my way from OCCC to OU between classes. I was immediately seated upon arrival. There weren't too many people there, but it was also fairly early for lunch. I was seated in comfortable booth to myself; nice ambiance. I ordered the spring rolls and Pad Kee Mao, keeping in mind that lunch portions are usually pretty small compared to dinner portions and I was pretty hungry. WRONG! My noodle plate was gigantic and it was absolutely fantastic, plus they got my food out in around 5 minutes. Of course I couldn't finish my gigantic portion of noodles and was sad that I couldn't take it to go since I wouldn't be able to refrigerate it. I was also able to study for a test while I was eating, and that is often very hard to do in restaurants. They were playing terrible music (Phil Collins covers, etc.) but it was easy to tune out. I also noticed they have lunch combos for $7.95 that look pretty awesome. No exaggeration, this is some of the most delicious Thai food ever. I will definitely be back to try some different things and I'm so thankful for yelp that I found it! Did I mention on top of everything else, the service was fantastic?!

Panang 2 - new location opened today! 14101 N. May Ave where Thai Stop used to be. I had the Thursday Lunch combo and it was delish. Their pad thai is not dry like other places and the Massaman Curry was rich and tasty. I got it to go and realized after I phoned in the order that they didn't ask me how many "stars" I wanted it so it wasn't spicy :( Huge portions, I have leftovers for tomorrow!

The first few times I tried Panang Thai I had their lunch special which I must say is an incredible deal considering the quantity of food you receive. For $8.25 you can get a starch noodles, rice, etc, a spring roll and two small portions of an entree. It is a lot! Trust me. Although the lunch menu, in my opinion, doesn't feature their best items. For maybe $1 or $2 more I would try something off their regular menu. Ever since I tried their oyster stir fry I am addicted. It comes with tons of vegetables, your choice of meat or tofu and a very light and flavorful broth or sauce. This also comes in a very generous portion. Also during lunch all entrees come with a fried spring roll. The service is always very friendly and the food always comes out very quick and fresh.

This small family owned restaurant is a welcome sight in Oklahoma City! From what I have seen in this city there are not many Thai food places around and this place makes some great pad thai! It's a small place but has a nice decor inside and has all the classic dishes you would expect for a Thai food restaurant. Quality of the food was excellent. Also next to the restaurant around the corner is another welcome sight to Oklahoma City, a market that specializes in Asian food and imported food goods! If you want some Thai food and want to expand your taste buds give Panang a try!

Best green curry and tom Kha soup I've ever had and I'm from Seattle which had a plenty of Thai restaurants.

The entrance to the restaurant was a bit awkward. Once you enter, you're in the dining room. There was no hostess stand or waiting area of any sort which got a bit crowded with many people gathered around the entrance. It took quite a while for anyone to even acknowledge us. I didn't know if you were suppose to seat yourself or what. Finally, I asked an employee if we just grab a table or was someone suppose to seat us. He asked us to wait a sec and showed us to a table. I got the chicken basil stir-fried which contained basil, onions, chili, and bell peppers. It was suppose to be spicy but I didn't think it was at all. The combination of those ingredients were done well and the sauce had a hint of sweetness in it. I also tried the chicken pad Thai noodles which is something I'd recommend to others. It's a great dish. I'm in love with their Thai iced tea! I pretty much inhaled that drink! The flavor was perfect and not too sweet. Try it! The dining room wasn't big so you might have to for a table during peak lunch and dinner hours. Service wasn't the greatest. We didn't see our waiter again until we got our check. I still like the restaurant though. Prices were fair and portions were ginormous! I only finished half my meal and had the leftovers for lunch the next day.

I'd been on a Thai kick for a straight week, and had some pretty decent Thai food, but nothing that hit the spot. So I turned to Yelp while in town visiting my sister for the holiday. Yelp did not let me down. This place is the real deal! I ordered my favorite dish, coconut curry chicken, and my sister got the Evil Jungle Chicken. It completely satisfied my cravings to the point where I don't need another Thai dish for a while! Unless it's to come back here, of course. ;) Tip: Level 5 is very HOT! I think I stuck with level 3, and that alone cleared my sinuses pretty well. And Pepsi products only (for those who like their Coke Zero- like me) Very friendly service! Pleasant dining experience. I've already recommended it to friends! Enjoy!

My favorite Thai restaurant. I remember when they had a different name and were a buffet. An awesome buffet. Back then the owner had a massive fish tank and unfortunately thought putting an electric eel in there was a good idea. Poor soul had burns on his arms and had to rope off the tank area. Well, the Food here is still beautiful (fancy even) and delicious. Noodle dishes are a bit too sweet though. Love eggplant and tofu and anything "spicy basil". Large TVs in both directions so you can just eat and watch. No talking. I said no talking!

Amanda N.
Not my favorite place. Went here with my mom for their lunch buffet, and the pad Thai was dry and too sweet. They also gave me the wrong order and gave me cashew chicken instead. When I sent it back, it came back super fast and as I was eating it, I noticed cashews still on my plate. I understand the inconvenience it may have been, but this could have gone extremely bad if I were allergic to nuts. Besides that, If you're looking for tasty authentic Thai food... Make the 15 min drive to thai house 2 on nw 23rd... So worth the extra drive, food is delicious and won't poison you if you have allergies.

Panang is consistently the best Asian food in the OKC metro area. I've tried almost everything on their menu, and every single item beats out any similar items at other Asian restaurants. The staff is friendly, but can get overwhelmed during rushes as they always seem to be understaffed. So be careful if you're eating in to allow plenty of time in case you hit them during a busy day as service can be slow. I have dreams about their Panang curry, and I'd eat it every day if I was okay with weighing 200 lbs. It's so delicious I'm drooling just thinking about it.... The best dishes there, IMHO, are the panang curry, basil fried rice, pra ram chicken, and papaya salad.

I only get to the South Side these days to visit my Sister or my Doctor, but now I have another reason - Pananag Thai. I made the trek south for my Brother-in-law's birthday and decided to stop here on the way after reading all the good reviews on Yelp. I got there around noon, and was seated right away. Good thing, because by the time I finished it was packed with mostly very large parties. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. They even use cloth napkins, which I just realized I don't see too often because I tend to eat cheap when alone. I ordered fresh vegetable spring rolls and spicy chicken stir-fry. The waiter asked me how hot on a scale of 1 to 5, so I said 3; this turned out to be perfect for me. The spicy sauce for the chicken stir fry was really very good. In fact the whole meal was really darn good and the portion size was right on. I did manage to inhale a small piece of hot pepper which lodged at the back of my throat - I'm sure my expression was priceless. Fortunately service was good so I had plenty of ice water to put the fire out. I don't eat Thai that often, but this place could make me a true believer. I'm looking forward to trying some of their curries and other offerings.

Wow! I love Thai food and more often than not I find myself expecting too much when I try a new restaurant. This place raised the bar. Their Green Curry Chicken was amazing (although I was surprised at how spice a level 4 was...maybe they were using a 1-5 scale instead of the 1-10 I am accustom to). Also had the Garlic Stir-fried Chicken which was just as delicious. I forced myself to eat only half my food so I could have dessert and I was glad I did! Coconut ice cream with sticky-rice...WOW! I have been having dreams about this dessert every night since, and a few impure thoughts as well. I cannot wait to get back to OKC so I can eat here again!

I absolutely love their Tom-Yum soup. I love spicy food so I get a 3-4 if you can handle spicy then that's a good level to try. Their shrimp fried rice and papaya salad are very delicious as well! Very good place for thai food and their thai tea is also very good not too sweet like most places.

Big ol' portions. Great prices. Good service. Delicious food. Only problem is it's in Moore. Too farrrr from meeee.

One of a few good restaurants in the south side of OKC. HUGE portion. The curries were OK, not too special. The pad thai was good...Again, the portion is huge. I like my pad thai with extra sweet and sour. I always add sugar and lime to my pad thai, which makes it better. But the pad thai at Panang really fit my taste. Sometimes I don't need lime and sugar for it. Their food is quite spicy...The curry was hot. Love the glassed they serve. With the price, you normally get plastic glasses, not real ones. The dishes they served were pretty nice with the price. Decent decors. They used lots of modern track lights throughout the restaurant. Nice...except the one drop down light right at the entrance was hung by a chain...(sorry...I am quite detailed)...Not a fan of their paint color...in the bathroom

One of my favorite places to eat. I LOVE Papaya salad and they give you an amazing amount of it. I love their pad thai as well. Those are the 2 things I get the most. I did get their lunch combo once. A lot of food for about $8. Their lunch combos are different each day but I'm sure they are all awesome. I love the atmosphere of the place and the staff is pretty attentive, though a bit aloof. No matter to me, though. As long as my ice water is filled and the food is tasty, I can look past that.

Best Thai food we have had in Oklahoma! They make their own Phai Thai sauce and it tastes authentic. My husband and I have spent quite a bit of time in Thailand and we were impressed with this place. I could not get enough of the Evil Jungle Curry (thanks yelp). I ordered #2 spice level so my kid could try it and it had the perfect kick. The spring rolls were fresh with a nice tasting peanut sauce.

My mother in law came in from Chicago so the entire family came here since my MIL loves Thai food. We ordered SEVERAL dishes from a squid stir fry to their popular curry and pad thai dishes. Everything tasted good, but I felt both the flat and glass noodles in the pad kee mao (sp?) and pad thai were overcooked. The noodles stocked together and were extremely soft. No one liked the red curry either. I guess we just don't have the palate for the curries. However, all the food had a nice spicy flavor (we ordered level 5) and we will most likely come back again. My favorite was the squid dish, the squid wasn't chewy and perfectly cooked. It's rare to find squid perfectly cooked in OKC, but here they did it well :)

I love Thai food. This place satisfies my craving always! They have the freshest ingredients and a very inviting environment! Great selection of food! From Stir Fry to Curry! Big portions,I personally always need a to go box! Always full and happy when I leave! Slightly pricey but it won't stop me! I'd say the best Thai food around OKC!

I'm an Asian girl who knows her food. Panang has good curries and their catfish dish- pla jian is pretty tasty. A little on the pricey end for dinner, but overall good. They do get quite busy and I was waiting for my to-go order once and they offered me a Thai iced-tea while I waited, which I did take advantage of. Yum!

If you're looking for authentic Thai food and a meal that will transport you to the heavens of foodie land, then Panang Thai Restaurant is just the place for you. Their iced Thai tea is delightful and quite unlike any drink I have ever tasted, while their Tom Yum Soup served with seafood is out of this world. A spicy, aromatic concoction of shrimp, squid, scallops, mussels, fresh basil leaves, cilantro, green chillies, lemongrass and mushrooms swimming in hot seafood broth, this is a traditional thai specialty that will tantalise your taste-buds, and leave you with a craving for more. As a picture is worth a thousand words, I have attached a photograph of the soup to give you a glimpse of what awaits you when you order this delightful concoction. I would also highly recommend their green and red curries with coconut milk, basil and lime. The best thing about visiting Panang is that they will tailor the spiciness of their food based on your preference on a scale of one to five, giving you exactly what you're looking for. Just don't make it too spicy, and if you're brave enough to order a five, then make sure you can handle it. I usually keep mine between 3 and 4 even though I have a HIGH tolerance for spicy food. Aaah. I just love eating here and am pretty confident that you will too!

Really pretty good curries. Get the jungle curry. The lunch specials give you a small bowl of curry and whatever the stir-fry dish is, but your better off just getting a big bowl of curry. Good Thai tea and Thai iced coffee.

the food is tasty, but a bit generic. I asked for a 5 out of 5 on the spicy scale and I could barely feel any heat.

This restaurant was very close to my old apartment so I ate here often. Moved a mile north and still frequent the place. I have never had anything bad off of this menu. Matt's favorite is the Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai. My number one favorite is the pineapple fried rice. Hot cashews. . . yum. Amazing. The service is always wonderful and attentive. The people that work here are so nice. I took one star away selfishly because they don't take American Express and that's the credit card where my boyfriend pays the bill.

Pretty solid. Really fast, really hot, really affordable. HUGE portion. Had the Spicy Basil Noodles (Pad Kee-Mao), not too (spicy) hot and the flavor was right on. Definitely what I was craving, so it hit the spot. I don't know if I would go back, though. Since I don't live in town, I think I would try somewhere else next time I visit.

Thai food is the new comfort food. It just seems to hit the spot and warm you heart and soul. There is something about eating a big bowl of spicy curry that leaves your satisfied knowing that it is healthy, but yet is delicious, with so many complex flavors. Panang definitely doesn't disappoint in this department. In fact, their food is actually my favorite Thai in the city. Their food is reasonably priced and the portions are huge. My husband and I could easily share an order of something for about $9, but we usually order two things and split it, and usually both have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. They offer a lunch special where you get to pick 2 half sized entrees, a piece of an appetizer, and I think soup for about $8. It is a great deal. I love their pineapple fried rice with shrimp. I also enjoy getting their Panang curry because it has both coconut milk and lime and basil leaves. I typically get it with chicken. I have also had their pad thai, and it is delicious. They put little chunks of tofu in it with the meat of your choice, plus it is full of veggies; more so that most other pad thai at other restaurants. I have sampled some of their other entrees, and also their delicious spring rolls. The staff is nice and service is good. They keep the restaurant very clean and it is well lit and not a loud atmosphere. The restaurant is typically busy, regardless of the time of I day that I visit. After dining, it is always fun to visit Cafe Bella (check out my review of them) next door for a Boba tea or a coffee.

mhmmm thai food, delicious! Panang has some really tasty food. It can get super spicy though! Make sure to ask for a lower level of spicy! The crispy noodles are so amazing. The pad see ew also has a nice fresh basil taste. The prices aren't too bad.

This was the best beef salad I have had and I love beef salad it is one of my favorite dishes. I haven't been to SF, or NYC or Thailand so I am not the most worldly of experts. But it was so good. I thought I could handle hot but I was wrong....sort of. I got a lvl 4 and I was having a hard time. But the flavor of the salad was so good and the ingredients seemed so fresh that it forced me to push through it. Maybe it was the endorphins from the heat. In any event I really enjoyed it but next time I may try a 3. I'm sure I was bright red and the wait staff were very helpful in bringing refills for my culinary oversight. My friends just laughed at me but I didn't care.

I stopped in here before a meeting yesterday. Good food, friendly and PROMPT service. I came in at lunch time, was seated quickly. The waitress took my order within minutes. Cost wise, this is very reasonable. $10 for pad thai and a spring roll Yes, please. The food came out quickly, it was tasty, and they're okay with you eating alone. I'll definitely be back.

So I visit this place again the next day. I just couldn't help myself. I ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao (both chicken)which equal to around $19. I didn't want to get the lunch combo so I order these to go. For some reason this time all of the food I ordered tasted a bit bland this time, especially the Pad Kee Mao. On top of that, it was VERY oily. They used too much oil on the food this time and I didn't like that very much. The portions were really big and they gave a lot of chicken meat. Usually most places are very stingy on the meat since they're expensive. I couldn't even finish the Pad Thai in one sitting. I downgrade this place from a 4 star to a 3 star. I'll still visit this place again but if the food quality stays like this I'll have to find else where.

Best Thai food EVER! Others come close but nothing surpasses the taste of these dishes. The pad thai is my absolute favorite...something makes it so much better than any other pad Thai I've ever had. If you're a fan of Thai food you MUST go here. The place is clean and the staff are fab and funny. Go now.

Love this place! It is in South OKC so it is a little out of my way since I live in Edmond BUT I am so excited that they opened Panang 2 in Edmond on May and Quail Springs PY! My husband and I ate there last night. As soon as I found out they were opening I started telling people in the Edmond area that we have now been graced with the best Thai in the state! I really hope this Edmond location does well for them. I tried to find it on yelp to leave that location its own review but it wasn't up yet. As of today the Edmond location has only been open 6 days and I hope it is open many more days! All of the curries are spectacular, the stir fry is out of control, the fried rice is so flavorful, and the appetizers are not something you'll find at any old restaurant. (The Angel Wings are soo good!) If you couldn't tell I'm pretty passionate abut this place and I really do hope that both locations thrive! Enjoy!

Great place with great service and delicious food. We got the padthai and panang curry from others suggestions. Big portions and so good. We also got coconut ice cream with sweet sticky rice and I could of ate a thousand of them.

BY FAR my FAVORITE Thai food anywhere! My husband introduced me to Padthai in Norman where the owner used to work, then left for Panang. Completely turned that place around. His wife is Thai, and she is the cook. She is an AMAZING cook! I've been around to different states, tried all different Thai places, and nothing comes close to how good every item is on their menu. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. The service is good, but the people who work there usually have a thick accent, so be patient if they don't understand you. I recommend going for lunch because they have where you can choose 4 items. They have different main dishes throughout the week. I usually get fried rice, pad thai, spring roll and then whatever else my heart desires for that day. I'm not a fan of curry, but every I've been with raves about all of the curry dishes. The food is so fresh and clean tasting, that I want to eat it 5 times a day. This is a great place to bring a group so you can order numerous dishes to share. Just call ahead and let them know, or you'll have to wait awhile. Please try this place out when you're in the area. It's even worth making a trip for. You will not regret it!

From the outside, Panang doesn't look like much, but the food here was pretty good and not too pricey. I liked the green and red curry dishes, and you get to choose your spicy level from 1-5 (I chose 3 and that was spicy enough). Yummy Thai food in southside OKC... I'll be back soon.

Great food. The chicken curry was slightly overcooked. The chicken fried rice was the best I ever had. It had a sweet flavor to it that set it off from all other foods. My meal was huge in comparison to the cost. Would recommend to all.

Tops all the other Thai restaurants I've tried around here (or anywhere else). I used to live in Norman and used to think Pad Thai and Sweet Basil were great. Then I tried Thai House II and that was awesome. THEN I TRIED PANANG and was BLOWN AWAY. My husband and I used to get the panang curry, the pad thai, and tom yum and split everything. That turned out to be so much food that we'd take most of it home and eat it for the next two days. Their papaya salad is AMAZING. They also have this spicy beef salad that would burn your tongue off, so don't try it if you don't like spicy stuff, but if you do, you MUST try it, because it's SO good. I can't stop raving about this place. More people need to know about it and eat there, so they can stay open for a long long time. The service is always good when we go. Great thai tea, too.

Fantastic find in South OKC. Ate there twice in one week and had the green curry fried rice and the Panang; both were amazing. Can't wait to go back and try the Pad Thai because I hear it's incredible.

Been here on many occasions for take-out. Their food is so fresh and made to order. I don't think there is anything on the menu that I have tried that I did not like. Their summer dessert is sticky rice, coconut milk and mango is Delicious. I recommend everyone to try this!

My review is based solely on the Chicken Pad Thai (I made a call-in order to go)... The taste was about average for pad thai found in the middle of Oklahoma. The noodles tasted fresh, the pad thai sauce could have been a tad better (more flavor needed)(more salt too?), the spiciness was a little tame even for a level 3 (on a scale of 1-5). My order came with chopped peanuts on top, a slice of lime, and sliced up carrots & cabbage ( yelp.com/biz_photos/Lw-4… ). I like when the pad thai is served with white rice, and mine didn't come with any :( I realize it's hard to find good pad thai in Oklahoma, but why?? WHYYY!! I'd like try the other menu items at this restaurant, and I guess I'll just keep searching for that perfect pad thai (that I had once found in Davie, FL). I would like to dine-in next time (maybe then I'll get rice???) TIP: The online menu for the restaurant can be found here: panangthaifood.com/Panan… They have a "Pick 4" lunch combo special for $7.55 from 11am-2pm Mon-Fri. You have to either go in or call to see what the "pick 4" choices are for that particular day, because the items on the lunch combo special change daily.

Our family has been eating here since they opened. I'm a HUGE fan of their green curry and everything I've had has been pretty good as a minimum. The last thing we had a couple of days ago was curry fried rice , chicken satay, and lemongrass stirfried. The chicken satay was had a great flavor and the peanut sauce paired with it was awesome! The curry fried rice was excellent, the lemongrass stirfry very good. All in all if you're looking for fresh, quality Thai food this is the place. They're about the best I've had outside of Thailand!

Giving them three stars but could have been two. I was really looking forward to trying this place after reading other reviews. But I came away disappointed. Maybe I should have ordered off the menu rather than doing the lunch special. But I started out with chicken sate. The chicken was ok at best, actually a little tough and hard to cut with a fork. And the peanut sauce was terrible. They added someting else to it (I couldn't figure out what) but it was terrible and blocked the taste of the peanuts. The pork spring roll on the lunch special was pretty good. And the Evil Jungle Chicken Curry was decent, too. I could taste a bit of the depth of flavors Thai is known for. But nothing really popped in your mouth like other Thai I've had. The Basil Beef Stir Fry was very unimpressive. The beef was tough, and the rest of the dish was no flavor at all. I guess that's what the squeeze bottle of chili sauce was for. They did give good sized portions. I had enough white rice on my plate to feed four hungry Cajuns!! I like my food spicy but this had none. Again, overall, I was highly disappointed as I was really looking forward to some spicy, Thai food with the various levels of popping flavors. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes.

Here for lunch. Service is ok, but not the best to start. Clean place and The food is cooked very well. The problem is that all of it is from a bag or can. They do cook it very well and for the price it is a good value, but I can only give it three stars. Nothing Homemade.

We already miss this wonderful restaurant and we've only been there one time. Thanks to Yelp reviews, we tried this place while overnighting in Oklahoma City. Are we ever glad we did. We ordered their Pad Thai, Pad Se-Ew, and Pineapple Fried Rice and when it came, we could not believe our eyes or our taste buds. The servings are enormous (we actually got almost 4 meals out of our order), and the flavors of this very fresh food were exceptional. I doubt whether we'll ever be this way again, but I wanted to comment on this excellent restaurant that is just on an ordinary strip mall a ways from the interstate.

My work affords me the opportunity to visit restaurants across the country. I was hungry for some Thai food on a recent visit to Oklahoma City. As always, I went to yelp for some assistance with choosing the best in town. I went during lunch and I'm here to tell you that this Thai restaurant is the best I ever had. You heard me, the best I've ever had. I don't throw this around lightly. I've had Thai food from literally all over the country and this little place served up an award winning lunch that will bring me back everytime I'm in town. I ordered a mango salad and seafood curry. I love spicy food so I ordered it 4(hot) on a scale of 1-5. It was absolutely perfect. Spiced hot with loads of flavor and freshness. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone. I must visit if your in the area. Thanks again yelp !!!

Pretty good Thai restaurant. Lunch specials have a great price and good portions. Could use to be a little spicier, it is Thai food. Thai tea was too sweet for my tastes. There are better places in my hometown, but this may be the best in OKC.

Wow!! One of the best meals I've ever had and definitely the best panang curry! Service was friendly & quick despite being dinner rush hour. Fresh spring rolls were decent but not great, Tom Kha soup was amazing! And again, the panang, well, it makes this Texan want to come back to okc.

Panang is the best Thai in OKC. There are no bad dishes. The service is wonderful and I'd never hesitate to recommend anyone to eat there.

We are in OKC a couple times a year for horse shows at the Coliseum. We usually do not get far from the Meridian Ave restaurant corridor. Tonight we ventured about 8 miles south to Panang Thai. It was worth the short trip. Try the Basil Stirfry, the Evil Jungle Chicken Curry. Owners were originally from LA but left after the LA riots in the '90's. Very personable and happy to talk to people who love Thai food.

Tried this for lunch today -w/ 2 other vegetarian coworkers. Could not try the lunch special as most of the choices had fish sauce in it. But it looked like a good option select appetizer, stir fry and curry from a selection of 2 each - changes every day. Also choose from Pad Thai, Fried Rice or White Rice. All for just a little above $7. Most of the lunch crowd seemed to order this. We tried the garlic stir fly, ginger stir fry and chili stir fry with vegetables and tofu. All of them were really delicious! Just wish they used a bit more veggies than tofu in the dishes. All were around $9.

Although I went here several years ago when it had different owners and was not impressed. I can now say this is my new favorite Pad Thai restaurant in Oklahoma.

One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in! Food is great!! I have had their garlic seafood dish for more than 2 years at least once or twice a week! Best Thai food period! Everyone who has ever been here has liked it. Much eat place! If you get a level 5 spicy, it gets even better. Made fresh or at least looks and tastes that way. Not the fanciest place to eat, but who cares, the food is awesome!

I've only had the chicken padthai but it is delicious. The spice scale is kind of hit and miss. I usually order a 3 and sometimes it comes out spicy and other times not spicy at all.

Great quality. Panang brings the heat so if you can't eat spicy food make sure you go with a 1. They nickle and dime you on the rice which is the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars. Most dinner dishes are $9.

5 star for the food, 1 star for the service, 2 star for the price. We used to be regulars until 1 day we decided to go for take out. We were told it was going to be a 10-15 minutes wait, so my husband waited in the restaurant while i walked next door to Saigon Taipei to pick up more food items. 15 minutes later expecting my husband to be waiting for me in the car he was still standing next to the counter waiting for our order. So we both waited by the counter for another 10 minutes, until my husband approached 1 of the waitress how much longer it was going to take. She replied it would just be a few more minutes. Again we waited for another 10 minutes, we were ignored, didn't offered any drink or to be seated. I stopped the female owner and told her to just cancel our order and refund us, i told her if i have time to wait 40 minutes for my food i would already have dined in. She didn't apologised, flat out just said our food is being prepared now. I insisted we need to get going and wanted the refund. She was mad and unhappily refunded our money and we stormed out of the restaurant. Until there is another Thai restaurant in Moore, we will just have to drive to Norman for our fix of Thai food.

I work right next door to Panang, so I often eat here. They always use the freshest ingredients and everything is made to order. The portions are huge and for $9 you can get 2, possibly 3, meals worth of food. It's also vegetarian/vegan friendly.

(4)Cielo G.
(4)Lauren M.
Get the Panang Curry and spring rolls. So good. This is probably the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The hubby likes the pad Thai. It's great too. It's a super casual place in a strip mall location. The service is very fast....sometimes almost too fast but I can't really complain about that.
(5)Jennifer K.
Honestly one of the best Thai restaurants in town. I've been to Thailand numerous times for work, and the food at Panang is spot on. The portions are pretty large - I usually get two meals out of whatever I order. I love the panang curry.
(5)Theresa D.
(5)Brandi D.
(5)Christopher N.
(5)Anna F.

(4)Esther L.
(5)Scott T.
Great Thai food and quick - easy carryout. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Panang has been one of our favorites since we moved back to town. I highly recommend the spicy beef salad.
(5)Daniel W.
Love the seafood fried rice, Tim um soup is delicious. I tried to make it at home couple times but still want to come back here for it. Come here with my husband every other weekend. My kids all love the foods here. The restaurant seems not very busy but overall 5 stars from me.
(5)Sandy N.
Yum! I love the soy-sauce noodles, massaman curry, house special stirfry! For dessert, try the mango with sticky rice!
(5)Olivia T.
I love their pad Thai! I used to come here a lot for their lunch special when I took classes nearby. Fortunately, there is one in the north side closer to where I live now. Must try for all!
(5)Ervin B.
(4)Kim N.
(4)Mimi B.
(5)John K.
(4)R H.
Was in town for work for two nights and came here both nights it was so good. Papaya salad is my measure of a Thai restaurant and this one was excellent!
(5)Brian H.
This was my first Thai restaurant and after 8 years 3 cities and many many restaurants. It is still my fave
(5)Ivy T.
(4)Christina G.
(5)Jeremy M.
Every time I go there I get the Jungle Curry and its 5 Stars. Last time I went I had their pad Thai and I wasn't impressed. Fresh spring rolls are good.
(4)Kelly S.
(2)Amy R.
We love the pad Thai and spring rolls! I can get about 3-4 meals out of it!!! YUM!!
(5)Heather M.
Tried this place out for first time and loved it! My husband got fried rice and I got the pad Thai. Both had huge portions, enough for another meal of leftovers and were delicious! Will definitely be eating here again!
(5)Lena K.
(4)Sarah N.
Not a huge fan of Thai food until hubby took me here! Its so amazingly delicious!! We are now totally regulars here!!!
(5)Jeff M.
Southside.
(4)Dave L.
Every time I'm in OKC I come to Panang and have never been disappointed. This place is one of the best Thai places I've ever been.
(5)Joshua F.
By far one of my favorite places in the area. Their curries are perfect, and everything I've tried from their menu has been great. I only wish they offered delivery! Pass that info along to Santa.
(5)Daniel M.
(3)Melissa S.
(5)Arla F.
(5)Karthik R.
Loved the food. Red curry was awesome and I have tried the fried rice. Would definitely visit again.
(4)Brandon M.
(2)Joe A.
Great portions, great taste.
(4)Heather R.
Was just ok :-/ I have had better Thai food in okc. We went for lunch. The service could have been better. I felt like the waitress wasn't really listening and was rushing us. She also wasn't very helpful to one of us who wasn't very familiar with Thai food. This discourages people from trying new things.
(3)E H.
We've been here three times and it has been consistent in service and taste. We tried pad kee mao, pad thai, curry, and fried rices. (oh if you order their calamari appetizer, it will be half calamari and half tempura vegetables. They should correct their menu description.)
(4)Uber M.
Absolutely THE BEST thai available in the metro. Not even kidding.
(5)Vy T.
(4)Eric H.
(5)Sara E.
(5)Annika L.
(5)George S.
Excellent Spicy Stir Fry (shrimp, beef, chicken) and Noodle With Gravy (chicken and shrimp). Topped off with Green Tea and Red Bean ice cream. Great dinner, good service, reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? I'll be back...
(5)Anastacia J.
Very tasty pork spring rolls and the noodle dishes were delicious!
(4)Richard T.
Rah Na, the stir fried rice flat noodle with gravy is yummy!
(5)Meg W.
(5)Jennifer C.
(4)Lisa P.
(5)Joshua H.
(5)Jared M.
Best green curry and tom Kha soup I've ever had and I'm from Seattle which had a plenty of Thai restaurants.
(5)Carly N.
(4)Laura H.
Enjoy!
(4)Heather S.
(4)Amanda N.
(3)Katherine B.
(5)Charles K.
(4)Michelle T.
They give out huge portions! The green curry w/ chicken is my favoritee.
(4)Matt S.
(5)Sonia V.
(5)Chris N.
Big ol' portions. Great prices. Good service. Delicious food. Only problem is it's in Moore. Too farrrr from meeee.
(5)Scarlet L.
(4)Pam W.
(4)Franci P.
(4)Juju G.
(3)Kat D.

(4)Marlon C.
the food is tasty, but a bit generic. I asked for a 5 out of 5 on the spicy scale and I could barely feel any heat.

2nd time that I've found hair in my food here. Will not be giving them a 3rd chance.

Excellent Thai - good to-go service. We like the cashew vegetable stir fry with tofu.

Panang is one of my regular restaurants in okc Soy sauce noodle is great but angel wings are tasty is find but smell is making me sickening :(
(4)Kevin L.
mhmmm thai food, delicious!

(3)Nicole B.

Enjoy!
(5)Jen L.
Great place with great service and delicious food. We got the padthai and panang curry from others suggestions. Big portions and so good. We also got coconut ice cream with sweet sticky rice and I could of ate a thousand of them.
(4)Ashley P.
(5)E. S.
Still great stuff, keep coming back for panange, spring rolls and all their curries.
(4)Vivian H.
(4)Aaron G.
Great food. The chicken curry was slightly overcooked. The chicken fried rice was the best I ever had. It had a sweet flavor to it that set it off from all other foods. My meal was huge in comparison to the cost. Would recommend to all.
(4)Jenny B.
(5)Brandon J.
Fantastic find in South OKC. Ate there twice in one week and had the green curry fried rice and the Panang; both were amazing. Can't wait to go back and try the Pad Thai because I hear it's incredible.
(4)Jesse S.
This place is very delicious, also vegetarian friendly. I especially recommend their lunch specials, you get a fulfilling diverse dish for a great price.
(5)nataliya f.
spicy eggplant and basil with chicken had a good flavor - single order enough for two diners, more sweet/basil, less salt
(4)Anisha G.
Been here on many occasions for take-out. Their food is so fresh and made to order. I don't think there is anything on the menu that I have tried that I did not like. Their summer dessert is sticky rice, coconut milk and mango is Delicious. I recommend everyone to try this!
(5)Cory H.

(4)Robert S.

(5)Stephen M.
Pretty good Thai restaurant. Lunch specials have a great price and good portions. Could use to be a little spicier, it is Thai food. Thai tea was too sweet for my tastes. There are better places in my hometown, but this may be the best in OKC.
(3)JC L.
Great lunch specials for 7.95$ very good curry.
(5)Laura P.
Wow!! One of the best meals I've ever had and definitely the best panang curry! Service was friendly & quick despite being dinner rush hour. Fresh spring rolls were decent but not great, Tom Kha soup was amazing! And again, the panang, well, it makes this Texan want to come back to okc.
(5)Thomas T.
Panang is the best Thai in OKC. There are no bad dishes. The service is wonderful and I'd never hesitate to recommend anyone to eat there.
(5)Doug B.
(4)Dipti S.
(4)Ryan B.
Although I went here several years ago when it had different owners and was not impressed. I can now say this is my new favorite Pad Thai restaurant in Oklahoma.
(5)Riaz S.
(5)Diane A.
I've only had the chicken padthai but it is delicious. The spice scale is kind of hit and miss. I usually order a 3 and sometimes it comes out spicy and other times not spicy at all.
(4)David C.
Great quality. Panang brings the heat so if you can't eat spicy food make sure you go with a 1. They nickle and dime you on the rice which is the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars. Most dinner dishes are $9.
(4)Tyng L.
(3)Marc R.
Very good food. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Evil jungle chicken curry my favorite.
(4)Brittany S.
I work right next door to Panang, so I often eat here. They always use the freshest ingredients and everything is made to order. The portions are huge and for $9 you can get 2, possibly 3, meals worth of food. It's also vegetarian/vegan friendly.
